Now that you’ve fanned up the winery on
Facebook , it’s time to post some pics and win fabulous prizes. Only one month left to enter favorite photos in our second annual fan photo contest (and let’s be honest, your chances are pretty good, since no one has yet entered!). It’s easy to enter, just upload your best pictures showing you and your friends having a fantastic time enjoying Bonacquisti Wine.
We will reward 3 winners a $100 shopping spree at the winery. Pictures need to be taken either at the winery, at a festival in front of our banner or anywhere you are enjoying the wine with our bottle in the photo. Encourage your friends to comment on your pictures and possibly sway the views of the judges. Contest ends September 20, 2010 at 3:00pm.

Fridays Uncorked Live Jazz and Winery Events

Outdoor music, festivals, and wine. It must be summer.

Fridays Uncorked at Winery Row, June 18, 6pm to 8pm.
Join us this Friday for our June concert in the parking lot, 4640 Pecos St, with the live sounds of 3 Squared featuring Antwon Owens. You’ve heard him on KUVO and seen him at Dazzle, now is your chance to hear the percussion stylings of a Denver favorite right in our very own lot. You can enjoy your wine by the bottle or by the glass, and we’ll have specials on Pauly’s famous grilled pizza from 6pm to 8pm. Grab your best pals, don’t forget your lawn chair and plan for a smooth night of live jazz in the setting sun. Evenings like this are why we live in the Mile High city.

Celebrate Dad at Highland Street Fair, Saturday June 19, 10am to dusk
Held annually on the Saturday of Father’s day weekend at 32nd & Lowell, this fair is a great way to thank Dad for not grounding you for life when he threatened to do it (even though you know you deserved it). We are sharing our booth with Fitness Together Denver, but promise we won’t make you flex a muscle to get a glass of the good stuff. Don’t want to drink your wine in a lousy plastic cup? No worries. Just as we do in the winery, we will be selling our 19 oz. etched Bonacquisti wine glasses for $10 each (plus wine), with $1 off every refill. So grab your old man, buy him a glass of vino, and bring the camera to remember the day. That’s gotta be way better than any tie.

Buy Local and Support Colorado
We want to send out some mad love to our friends and growers on the western slope. You may have heard Governor Ritter announce that six counties have been declared federal disaster areas because of cold weather that damaged grape crops and will limit the amount of grapes available come harvest time. We know you have many options when you make a wine purchase. We appreciate your support and truly value your business.

June Wine Club Ready
Our quarterly wine club is ready for pickup and features a delicious Pinot Grigio that is only available to wine club members with this shipment. Members, please check your email for specifics on the wine club. Not a member? Sign up today to receive the limited shipment for June http://www.denverwine.net/purchase.cfm?currSection=3

Highland Farmers Market
We’ll be back at the Highland Farmers Market on Boulder Street, between 15th and 16th beginning June 26 from 9:00am to 1:00pm. The market runs Saturdays through October with live music and a kids zone. See you there.

Vinny No Neck Release Party

If you didn't know Vinny No Neck is the name of our signature Italian style red wine, you might think we're celebrating the release of an incarcerated relative. Not this time.
Join us Saturday, April 17th from 12p-5p for the Vinny No Neck Release Party. As our regulars know, this is an Italian style red in honor of our son Vincent (who will be a foot taller once he grows a neck). We've updated the label with the familiar work of Daniel Luna and pay tribute to all the Vincents of the world! A blend of Sangiovese (same grape Chianti is made from), Merlot and a little Cabernet Franc, this wine has black cherries, sweet spice aromas and a smooth easy finish that makes it a great companion to pizza and Italian sausage. Because they pair so well, we'll have the grilled fired up with food available for purchase. Plus, we'll have freshly baked artisan bread to sample from Kathy DiGirolamo. Bring your friends and spend the afternoon smiling.

Spring Barrel Tasting
Mark your calendar for May 27th & 28th for our annual Spring Barrel Tasting Party when we sample straight from the barrel to your glass. We will send out the details in our next newsletter.

Now Available at...
We keep adding new retail locations so you don't have to come to the winery all the time (even though it's usually more fun). A big thank you to the new stores that carry our wine:
Kacee's Wine & Spirits - 136th & I-25, Westminster
Mile High Wine & Spirits - 435 S Vance, Belmar
SIP Fine Wine & Spirits - 19th & Blake, LoDo
Wine Works - 120th & Claude Ct, Northglenn
Peak Cigars & Wine, HWY 24 & S 21st St, Colorado Springs

We look forward to seeing you soon. Salute!
Paul and Judi
